NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Three enterprises assisted by the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-XII (RTWPB-XII) received financial assistance under the Department of Labor and Employment-Adjustment Measures Program (DOLE-AMP) in separate turnover ceremonies in August and September.
The recipients, which are all regional winners of the Productivity Olympics, include Mr. Snow Food Products OPC, Mamastill Local Food Hub, and Regina Tilapia Hatchery.
Mr. Snow Food Products OPC received their DOLE-AMP grant in a turnover ceremony on 05 August 2026 while Regina Tilapia Hatchery and Mamastill Local Food Hub received their grants during the “Handog ng Pangulo” Trabaho Agad Job Fair, TUPAD Payout, and Ceremonial Release of DOLE-AMP in South Cotabato on 14 September 2026.
RTWPB-XII referred the three enterprises to DOLE-XII to explore government programs that could strengthen their operations.
During the turnover ceremony, RTWPB-XII Board Secretary VI Eva Karla H. Lacambra congratulated the beneficiaries. The event was facilitated by the DOLE-South Cotabato Field Office under Mr. Marnie Dave S. Eballes.
“From a food products enterprise and a local food hub to a hatchery supplying the region’s aquaculture sector, each business shows how small enterprises can drive local livelihoods when given the right support at the right time. The assistance helps them adjust to challenges, strengthen their operations, and keep providing jobs and income in their communities,” Board Secretary Lacambra said.
The DOLE-AMP serves as a safety-net initiative by the DOLE that provides financial assistance to MSMEs and workers. It aims to preserve jobs, boost productivity, and improve resilience against economic and social disruptions. (Randy Oliver Legada)
