Key Duties, Responsibilities and Authorities:
  1. Supervises and reviews the work of the rest of the Division;
  2. Prepares comments on Wage Order and its IRR issued by the Boards and in the absence of RALD Chief presents to the Commission Proper for their approval;
  3. Prepares case summaries/orders/decisions/resolutions on appeals on application for exemption and Wage Orders cases;
  4. Prepares replies to written and e-mail queries and attends to walk-in and telephone clients;
  5. Prepares pleadings for Supreme Court, Court of Appeals and letter-queries to Department of Justice and other gov’t. agencies on legal questions re: NWPC Guidelines and other related laws;
  6. Prepares comments on contracts entered into by NWPC and RTWPBs;
  7. Researches jurisprudence relevant to appealed cases;
  8. Provides legal assistance /official advices to the Commission/Staff;
  9. Prepares NWPC case digests for the NWPC Law Gazette;
  10. Supervises the mailing of pleadings/decision/resolution to Petition, Courts and other quasi-judicial agency;
  11. Perform other functions as may be assigned from time to time
