Core Knowledge and Skills

  1. Records management
Key Duties, Responsibilities and Authorities:
  1. Takes and transcribes verbatim notes of hearings, testimonies and comments of witnesses, hearing officers, members of the board and other officials during Board meetings, public hearings or conferences;
  2. Delivers to the Board secretary all notes immediately at the close of hearings. Initials original copy of transcripts of notes taken for attachment to the records of the cases;
  3. Takes dictation from hearing officers on decisions made;
  4. Types decisions, pleadings in prescribed format;
  5. Encodes communications, reports and other documents under his/her area of jurisdiction;
  6. Performs related clerical work as assigned by the Board.

  6. Photocopy of Transcript of Records.
