Key Duties, Responsibilities and Authorities:
  1. Prepares and issues press releases and news items to print and broadcast media on Agency’s performance, issuances and pronouncements;
  2. Writes materials for radio/ press releases, news items and other correspondence;
  3. Reviews materials for publication and distribution to clients;
  4. Arranges press conferences/ interviews with key officials;
  5. Monitors press releases relative to NWPC concerns and prepares reports;
  6. Establishes information exchange networks with other government agencies; establishes liaison with media establishments, institutions and organization; accommodates/ entertains media guests/ visitors in the Office;
  7. Coordinates with media in the dissemination of press releases;
  8. Coordinates with other offices in the implementation of the media plan.
