Davao enterprises undergo Usapang 2Ps orientation, onboarding training

Over thirty representatives from various firms in Davao City participated in an Usapang 2Ps orientation and productivity training conducted by the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-XI (RTWPB-XI) on 25 June 2026.

Mr. Kenneth Paul J. Recaña, Labor and Employment Officer III, introduced the agency’s history, mandate, and flagship programs including the Tamang Kaalaman sa Kita at Kakayanan (T3K) and the Productivity Toolbox.

Ms. Christina H. Balaga, Labor and Employment Officer II, facilitated the productivity training “Hired and Inspired: Jumpstarting Productivity Through Effective Onboarding of New Employees” where she elaborated on strategies behind successful onboarding.

Meanwhile, participants, mostly from HR, engaged in fruitful discussions that benefited everyone involved.

Usapang 2Ps is an information campaign of the RTWPB and NWPC to MSMEs on matters related to wages and productivity.

Hired and Inspired: Jumpstarting Productivity through Effective Onboarding of New Employees provides a clear and practical guide to effective employee onboarding, explains why it matters for productivity and retention, and details the design and implementation of a structured onboarding process.
