DMW-IX employees undergo 7S training

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board IX (RTWPB-IX) conducted a 7S of Good Housekeeping Training for 25 employees of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Regional Office IX in Zamboanga City on 10 July 2026.

The training, which featured discussions on the seven pillars of the 7S methodology, aimed to promote workplace safety, operational efficiency, and a culture of continuous improvement among DMW-IX personnel. It also sought to support the Agency’s preparations for its fifth-year institutional assessment in 2027.

Engr. Erra Jelle L. Gracia, Senior Labor and Employment Officer, discussed the concepts of Sort and Systematize. Administrative Assistants Ms. Hannah Rose L. Segovia and Ms. Erlinda Q. Pontanosa facilitated interactive activities and discussions on Sweep and Standardize.

Mr. Ric Luke B. Gracia, Labor and Employment Officer III, presented the principles of Safety and Self-Discipline, while Atty. Brenda M. Quintas, Information Technology Officer I, discussed Sustain and shared practical strategies for developing and implementing the Agency’s 7S plan.

Meanwhile, OIC-Assistant Regional Director Fe L. Dela Cruz expressed her appreciation to the RTWPB-IX facilitators, emphasizing that the training would significantly contribute to DMW-IX’s readiness for its institutional assessment in the coming year. DMW-IX Regional Director Gay Iris TS. Tangacalagan also participated in the activity.
