July 13, 2026

Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Francis “Tol” N. Tolentino led the ceremonial turnover of Php400-thousand in financial assistance from the DOLE-Adjustment Measures Program (DOLE-AMP) to a technical-vocational institution based in Koronadal City.

The grant will finance the procurement of office supplies and instructional materials for the development of Austin Assessment and Training Center, Inc.’s BARISTA learning resources, enhancing the institution’s capacity to deliver quality skills training and produce a more competent workforce.

Over 20 workers are expected to directly benefit from the assistance, supporting employment retention while improving the organization’s ability to respond to industry needs.

As an active partner in the implementation of DOLE-AMP, the Reginal Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-XII (RTWPB-XII) implemented programs that help businesses and workers in Koronadal City and across Region XII recover, adapt, and thrive in an ever-changing economic landscape.

The DOLE-AMP serves as a safety-net initiative by the DOLE that provides financial assistance to micro, small, and medium enterprises and workers. It aims to preserve jobs, boost productivity, and improve resilience against economic and social disruptions

The financial assistance forms part of the Php260-million package extended by DOLE Regional Office XII and its partner agencies to qualified beneficiaries throughout the region. (Randy Oliver Legada)
