Labason MSMEs join Usapang 2Ps: Pasahod at Productivity

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-IX (RTWPB-IX) conducted the Usapang 2Ps: Pasahod at Productivity on 10 March 2026, in Labason, Zamboanga del Norte.

Over 50 participants representing 45 local micro, small, and medium enterprises gained insights into wage policies and productivity programs during the “Usapang 2Ps” session in Labason.

Mr. Joel M. Ijirani, RTWPB-IX Board Secretary IV, spearheaded the Usapang Pasahod segment, where participants were apprised of the provisions of Wage Order No. RIX-24. The session also introduced the participants to the Board’s other key services, including wage distortion resolution, facility evaluation, and the conduct of time and motion studies.

Meanwhile, Atty. Brenda M. Quintas, Information Technology Officer I, discussed the Design and Formulation of a Productivity-Based Incentive Scheme (PBIS). The participants were also guided in the accomplishment of productivity forms with the assistance of Ms. Hannah Rose L. Segovia, Administrative Assistant I.

As part of the program, Ms. Juliet N. Tigo, Regional Coordinator of the National Anti-Poverty Commission, delivered an inspirational talk entitled “A Call to Action: Balancing Work, Family and Business.” The session highlighted the vital role of women in both community development and the business sector, encouraging participants to pursue balanced and empowered participation in economic activities.

PBIS is a workplace-initiated program on improving the productivity of workers and enterprises to generate savings or additional revenues, which can be shared by enterprises with their workers. (Atty. Brenda M. Quintas)
