Mr. Enrique P. Reyes, Jr., Senior Labor and Employment Officer from the Training and Technical Services Division (TTSD) participated as Kaizen trainee in the DTI-Board of Investments (DTI-BOI) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) project on the “Elaboration of Industrial Plan Using Value Chain Analysis.”

Mr. Kiyoshi Yoshida, an expert from Japan International Cooperation Agency, supervised the consultation process while Mr. Reyes was immersed in the conduct of Kaizen methodology by observing the conduct of the consultation and documenting the process.

The on-the-job training experience of Mr. Enriquez was in preparation for the new technical service on Kaizen to be offered by the NWPC under its Productivity Toolbox.
