NWPC Learning Sessions in the next normal

November 2, 2021

The NWPC Learning Session on Wages and Productivity will continue to run this year via zoom. The new online platform would allow participation of interested parties nationwide while guaranteeing their safety from the pandemic.

The kick-off was the session on Business Continuity Planning and Management (BCPM) held on July 19,2021 and presented by the Training and Technical Services Divisions’ Supervising Officer, Ms. Amelia C. Kakazu, who discussed the steps in developing action plans that aim to ensure business continuity during and after a disaster.

This was followed by sessions on Work Ethics of a Productive Worker (July 21) and Work Life Balance: Productive Work from Home (July 28), presented by Ms. Terence Joy O. Amores and Ms. Maria Rosa D. Opis, both from the TTSD, respectively.

Pre-pandemic, the NWPC Learning Sessions were held in the NWPC Conference Room. A session was scheduled on March 13, 2020 but was canceled due to the declaration of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).
