NWPC conducted its year-end performance assessment (YEPA) on December 7 and 9 via Zoom and with the RTWPBs on December 16, 2020.
In her message, Executive Director Maria Criselda R. Sy challenged the program managers and implementers to execute new strategies to effectively implement the programs in 2021, focusing on the promotion of productivity improvement and the adoption of productivity-based incentive schemes.
During the activities, the central office’s division chiefs and RTWPB Board Secretaries reported the issues, risks, and opportunities they encountered in 2020 alongside action plans and strategies for 2021.
Presented also were the NWPC’s program thrusts and direction for 2021 to 2022:
The CO-RB YEPA also became a platform for RTWPBs to share their best practices in 2020 particularly in managing the effects of the pandemic on program deployment.
The NWPC awarded some Boards for demonstrating excellence in the implementation of flagship programs: RTWPBs II and XII for the two-tiered wage system, RTWPB V and XI for the productivity toolbox, RTWPBs CAR and IX for human resource, and RTWPBs I and III for financial management.
Mr. Jerome P. Lucas, OIC-Chief of the Planning and Information Division also presented the proposed NWPC Marketing Plan to promote the policies, programs, and services of the agency.
