The Commissioners issued a resolution last April 11 on mainstreaming a productivity agenda in the country’s development plans.

Pursuant to the resolution, the NWPC shall participate in the review and updating of national and sectoral development plans; enhance partnerships with sectoral stakeholders and strengthen representation in policy-making sectoral bodies to push forward the country’s productivity agenda.

Among these plans which will serve as platform for productivity agenda are the Philippine Development Plan 2017-2022, the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Plan, Philippine Export Development Plan, and the Industry Roadmaps.
