ED Sy speaks in 1st Bicol Regional Productivity Symposium

Executive Director Maria Criselda Sy talked on “Green Productivity for Sustainable Development” during the 1st Bicol Regional Productivity Symposium held on March 20, 2018 at the La Piazza Convention Center, Legazpi City, Albay.


Organized by the RTWPB-V, the activity aimed to heighten the consciousness on the importance of sustainable productivity technologies to business enterprises, the economy, and more importantly to the community.


In her presentation, Executive Director Sy discussed the international and enterprise-level mitigation and adaptation initiatives on climate change. She also presented existing workplace green practices.


Other speakers during the symposium were DOLE Regional Director Exequiel R. Sarcauga; Mr. Philip N. Tan of Wellmade Motors and Development Corporation; Mr.Yco M. Tan, Jr. of Tanvera Corporation; Mr. Christopher Norman T. Bertillo of Big Norman’s Garden Supplies and Services; Engr. Rene B. Hermo of Gubat St. Anthony Cooperative; and Atty. Emmanuel A. Remolacio of the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
