On July 1, 2021, NWPC held a virtual celebration of its 32nd Founding Anniversary. This is the second anniversary held virtually. Despite limited physical interaction, the virtual platform made possible a more interactive and engaging celebration between the Central Office and the Regional Boards.
The celebration was graced by Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III, Undersecretary Ana C. Dione and the NWPC Commissioners. In his message, Secretary Bello said that while NWPC joins the whole government in its effort to fight COVID-19, it has not been remiss in the delivery of its wage and productivity policies and programs.
Undersecretary Dione, in her closing message, expressed confidence that programs and services of the NWPC will always be felt by the Filipino workers and enterprises.
Executive Director Maria Criseda R. Sy, in her message, said she hopes that even in the face of the precarious challenges, NWPC will remain committed and focused in the delivery of its mandate to help improve the lives of FIlipino workers and the competitiveness of enterprises.
Games and the introduction of the new employees in the Central Office and the Regional Boards capped, with fun, the celebration. Likewise, NWPC paid tribute to its loyalty awardees, retired employees, aswell as those who have passed on in the previous year.
