NWPC joins DOLE Digital Transformation Workshop, holds training on graphic design

Alexis Fabunan of the Planning and Information Division participated in the DOLE Digital Transformation Envisioning Workshop held on November 7-10, 2018 at the Luxent Hotel, Quezon City.

The workshop aimed to develop digital vision based on the strategic objectives of the Department. Topics included during the workshop are digital transformation, optimizing I.T. structure, design thinking, cybersecurity, data privacy, modernizing workplace, business intelligence and reporting, and DOLE ISSP 2019-2022.

To capacitate the NWPC staff on graphic design skills, an echo session on Adobe Illustrator was organized by the Planning and Information Division with Clodualdo F. Milo as speaker. The session was held on November 7, 2018 at the NWPC Conference Room.

Mr. Milo attended a three-day course on the said software at the Philippine Center for Creative Imaging (PCCI) in Makati City on July 25-27, 2018. Adobe Illustrator is a graphic-driven software used primarily for creating vector graphics. It is also used for creating logos, graphics, cartoons and fonts for photo-realistic layouts.
