NWPC participates in ARTA’s Public Consultation on the IRR of RA 11032

Deputy Executive Director Jeanette T. Damo, Chief Administrative Officer Marc Alexis M. Arabe, Supervising Administrative Officer Andrew P. De Guia, and Senior Labor and Employment Officer Julie C. Llorente took part in the public consultation on the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of RA 11032 and the Philippine Business Databank hosted by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), an attached agency of the Office of the President. It was held at the Jose Rizal Hall of the PICC on February 13, 2019.


The national public consultation which convened government agencies and private sector organizations aimed to raise awareness on and draw inputs to the IRR, while awaiting the appointment of a permanent Director General to sign its approval and promulgation.


The IRR of the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 establishes mechanisms in streamlining current systems and procedures of government services. It is a landmark law of the Duterte administration that addresses one of the 10-Point Socio-economic Agenda which was crafted to improve the competitiveness and ease of doing business in the Philippines.
