NWPC participates in MSME Dev’t Plan

The NWPC, through Atty. Jamie-Lyn Jamias and Ms. Maria Corazon P. Caritativo, participated in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development Plan 2017-2022 organized by the Department of Trade and Industry – Bureau of Small and Medium Enterprise Development (DTI-BSMED) on March 23, 2018 at the Makati Diamond Residences, Makati City.

 

Atty. Jamias presented the NWPC’s productivity strategy of linking wage and productivity growth through the conduct of productivity training programs and provision of technical assistance to MSMEs in designing productivity-based incentive schemes.

 

The MSMED Plan serves as a framework for promoting, supporting, strengthening, and encouraging the growth and development of MSMEs. The new plan has five strategic goals: 1) improved business climate, 2) improved access to finance, 3) enhanced management and labor capacities, 4) improved access to technology and innovation, and 5) improved access to market.
