To further create and nurture an organizational culture of innovation and this year’s 35 new employees were immersed in an Innovation Bootcamp to breed an unorthodox thinking and application of out-of-the-box suggestions. Suggestions for improvement gathered from the officers and staff in the Commission and the Boards served as starting point for the new employees to work on during the bootcamp.
The Bootcamp started out with a webinar conducted by the Technical Services Division on July 16, 2021. They were then divided into groups, each tasked to think of innovative solutions for the different processes assigned to them. The new employees were given the rest of July to create and present the first drafts of their action plans on July 26-27.
