For the first time, the NWPC and RTWPBs officers and staff, even those working from home, gathered together in the year-end assembly via online platform on December 18, 2020.
The highlight of the activity was a dance contest where entries from the Regional Boards and the Management Support Services were viewed and voted upon through Zoom. RTWPB IX won the challenge, with MSS, RTWPB X and RTWPB V as first to third runners-up, respectively.
The event also introduced the Central Office’s new employees who sang Jose Mari Chan’s yearly anthem “Christmas in Our Hearts.” Employees also joined in guessing the identities of the baby pictures of some employees in a “Bet on Your Baby Challenge” game.
The NWPC also recognized one employee per division in the Central Office for their exemplary service during the year: John Rowen Rubite (Office of the Director), Ouija S. Brillo (AD), Francisca Guna (FMD), Jerome P. Lucas (PID), Maria Corazon P. Caritativo (PPRD), Phyllis G. Dela Rosa (RALD), Franz Allan A. Visitacion (WPRD) and Julie C. Llorente (TTSD).
In closing, Executive Director Sy, said she hoped that the activity would serve as precedent for holding activities that would bring together CO and RB officers and staff.
