The second tranche of the wage hike in Region XI which provides a P26 increase in the daily minimum wage of private sector workers in the region took effect on February 16, 2019. This completes the P56 wage increase approved in Wage Order No. XI-20.

The second tranche brings the new minimum wage rates to P396 for minimum wage earners in the non-agriculture, industrial, commercial, and retail/service establishments employing more than 10 workers; P391 for those in the agriculture sector; and P381 for those working in retail/service establishments employing not more than 10 workers.

Upon effectivity of Wage Order No. XI-20 on August 16, 2018, all minimum wage earners were given an additional P30 in their daily minimum wages as the first tranche of the wage increase.
