The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-V (RTWPB-Bicol) successfully conducted and officially launched its training program “Improving Productivity through Operations Management” in Sorsogon on May 19, 2026. The activity gathered 43 owners, managers, and supervisors from various micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across Sorsogon.
The activity marked the first rollout of the training program in Sorsogon, highlighting the agency’s continued commitment to expanding productivity enhancement initiatives and strengthening the operational capabilities of MSMEs in the province. The training provided participants with practical knowledge and strategies on efficient operations management, productivity improvement, workflow optimization, and effective resource utilization.
Through the activity, participants gained valuable insights on how operational efficiency contributes to increased business productivity, improved service delivery, and long-term business sustainability. The training also served as a platform for MSMEs to exchange experiences, identify common operational challenges, and explore innovative approaches to enhancing workplace productivity.
