In celebration of Women’s Month, the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board – Cordillera Administrative Region (RTWPB-CAR) conducted a training on “Effective Time Management: The Key to a Productive Work-Life Balance” on 12 March 2026 at Aguirre’s Kitchenette, Luna, Apayao. The activity gathered Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) representatives from Apayao to enhance their knowledge on balancing professional responsibilities and personal well-being through effective time management.
The session began with a discussion on the Basic Concept of Work-Life Balance and Time Management for Work-Life Balance delivered by Ms. Jo-ann M. Borja, Supervising Labor and Employment Officer. She highlighted the importance of maintaining harmony between work and personal life, emphasizing that effective time management helps individuals reduce stress, improve productivity, and achieve overall well-being.
Mr. Albert B. Bambico, Administrative Assistant I, presented Tools and Methodologies in Managing Time to Achieve Work-Life Balance, where he introduced practical strategies and techniques that participants can apply in their daily routines, including prioritization, scheduling, and setting realistic goals to manage both work and personal responsibilities efficiently.
Lastly, Mr. Albert M. Palma, Information Technology Officer I, discussed Work-Life Balance Practices at Work and Their Benefits. He emphasized how organizations and individuals can adopt healthy workplace practices that support productivity while promoting employee wellness and job satisfaction.
The activity provided MSME participants with valuable insights and practical approaches to managing their time effectively. Through the discussions, participants were encouraged to apply work-life balance strategies in their professional and personal lives, fostering a more productive, healthy, and sustainable working environment.
