BAGUIO CITY – The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board – Cordillera Administrative Region (RTWPB-CAR) took part in the 124th Labor Day celebration and job fair last 01 May 2026. The event was held at the Baguio Convention Center and organized by the Department of Labor and Employment – Cordillera (DOLE-CAR).

Government agencies, private companies, and hundreds of job seekers gathered for a day dedicated to opening new career paths. The job fair connected applicants with a wide range of employers, from local businesses to national companies, all under one roof.

DOLE-CAR Regional Director Imelda E. Romanillos opened the event with a message emphasizing the importance of accessible work opportunities for all Filipinos.

The celebration carried the theme, “Disenteng Trabaho para sa Lahat: Iisang Hangarin, Bagong Pilipinas Sama-samang Mararating,” highlighting the united goal of achieving decent work for everyone as the nation moves forward. (Albert M. Palma)
