June 16, 2026

BAGUIO CITY – The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board – Cordillera Administrative Region (RTWPB-CAR) joined the Fun Walk for a Child-Labor-Free Philippines in support of the nationwide observance of the World Day Against Child Labor last 11 June 2026 at Baguio City.

With the theme, “Ikaw, Ako, Tayo: Sama-samang Pagkilos para sa Batang Malaya,” the activity highlighted the shared responsibility in protecting children from labor exploitation.

Led by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-CAR, the activity gathered representatives from national government agencies, local government units, non-government organizations, law enforcement agencies, private sector partners, and youth advocates to raise awareness on the realities and harmful effects of child labor.

Through its participation, RTWPB-CAR reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote children’s welfare and uphold decent work principles, contributing to the collective effort to eliminate child labor and build a brighter future for Filipino children.
