LA TRINIDAD, Benguet — Solidifying its commitment to regional solidarity and self-determination, the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-Cordillera Administrative Region (RTWPB-CAR) actively participated in the grand celebration of the 39th Cordillera Day on July 15, 2026, at the Benguet Sports Complex.
Hosted this year by the Benguet Provincial Government, the milestone event brought together vibrant delegations from national and regional line agencies, state universities and colleges, and local government units from across the region to honor the historic founding of the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
The RTWPB-CAR delegation proudly joined the traditional civic parade, marching alongside thousands of fellow public servants and advocates in a powerful showcase of regional unity. The board’s representatives also took part in the sacred rituals and cultural programs that paid tribute to the ancestors who pioneered the struggle for indigenous rights and self-governance.
Participating in Cordillera Day is more than an annual tradition; it is a renewal of its pledge to help build a strong, self-reliant, and inclusive economy capable of supporting the long-cherished dream of regional autonomy. (Albert M. Palma)
