The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) Caraga conducted a 7S of Good Housekeeping training for employees of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Agusan del Sur on 18 March 2026.
A total of 27 employees joined the activity, including Officer-in-Charge Field Office Head Buhawe Corvera Correa, who expressed her gratitude to RTWPB Caraga for making the effort to travel and share their expertise.
“We truly appreciate your commitment to helping us improve our workplace and your continuous commitment towards workplace productivity,” she said in her opening remarks.
Board Secretary VI Earl D. dela Victoria also thanked the participants for their openness to change, noting that their willingness to embrace new practices will help create a more productive and organized environment.
The 7S of Good Housekeeping is a practical approach to workplace improvement that emphasizes seven key principles: Sort, Systematize, Sweep, Standardize, Self-discipline, Safety, and Sustain. These steps aim to reduce clutter, promote safety, and encourage discipline, ultimately leading to cleaner and more efficient offices.
The training highlighted how small, consistent changes can make a big difference in daily operations. By adopting the 7S principles, DOLE Agusan del Sur hopes to set an example of how government offices can maintain order and productivity while serving the public. (Atty. Lorainne D. Sacote)
