The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board – Region I (RTWPB- I), represented by Ms. Fredilyn Mapanao Alag, Administrative Assistant I, participated in the GAD Orientation and Disability Sensitivity Training held on 13-14 August 2026, at J&V Resort and Hotel, City of San Fernando, La Union.

The two-day training aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding of gender-responsive governance and disability-inclusive practices, while promoting the delivery of accessible, inclusive, and responsive public services.

The activity also provided participants with a deeper understanding of relevant national and local policies, as well as the programs and initiatives of the City Gender and Development Office and the Person with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO).

The participation of RTWPB-I in the activity highlights the Board’s continuing efforts to enhance the capacity of its personnel and integrate gender-responsive and disability-inclusive approaches in the delivery of its programs and services. (Fredilyn M. Alag)
