The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-I (RTWPB-I) participated as a member of the Provincial Deliberation Committee during the conduct of the Search for Best Public Employment Service Office (PESO) for CY 2025 in the Province of La Union last 27 April 2026 at Mabanag Hall, San Fernando City, La Union.

The Search for Best PESO Award is an annual initiative of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) that aims to acknowledge exemplary PESOs nationwide. The purpose of this search is to acknowledge the significant role of Public Employment Service Offices as major partners in the implementation of DOLE programs and services at the grassroot levels.

As part of the committee, Mr. Dino S. Dizon, LEO II of RTWPB-I, contributed to the evaluation, screening, and recommending entries in the regional selection. The Board’s participation highlights its continued support in recognizing PESOs that demonstrate outstanding performance in delivering employment facilitation services.

Present during the event were Miss Bernadette May M. Mamitag, Supervising LEO/DOLE-LUFO Caretaker, Engr. Celine Joy B. Duclayan, LEO III/ PESO Focal, Mr. Carlo P Apostol, LGOO II of DILG Region 1, Miss April M. Bravo, Assistant Regional Director of PIA Region 1, Miss Anne Maureen Tan , President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of La Union, and Miss Fraulein S. Salazar, Secretariat of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of La Union.

Entries evaluated during the provincial deliberation included PESO La Union, Bagulin, San Fernando City, Bauang, Agoo, Balaoan, Luna, and Rosario. (Dino S. Dizon)
