RTWPB-III Strengthens Nueva Ecija-based Association Through ISTIV-PAP Training

September 22, 2026

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-III (RTWPB-III) strengthened the capacities of 20 members of a Laur, Nueva Ecija-based association through the ISTIV-PAP Values Training on 16 September 2026.

This is part of efforts to strengthen organizational values and promote productivity among beneficiaries of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) livelihood program.

The Buklod Association is a livelihood beneficiary of DOLE Nueva Ecija and was provided with an agricultural supply livelihood project to support its income-generating activities. The training aimed to complement the livelihood assistance by strengthening the values and practices needed to effectively manage and sustain the association’s livelihood initiative.

The training featured discussions on the different ISTIV-PAP values and their practical application in managing the association. Participants were encouraged to reflect on how these values can contribute to stronger cooperation, accountability, responsibility, discipline, and commitment among members.

The activity also emphasized that the sustainability of a livelihood project depends not only on the resources and equipment provided but also on the members’ capacity to work together, manage resources responsibly, and continuously improve their organizational practices.

The ISTIV-Productivity Awareness Program (ISTIV-PAP) provides a values-driven human resource intervention for quality and productivity improvement by developing five key attributes among employees: Industrious, Systematic, Time-conscious, Innovative, and having a strong Value for Work.

Through this training, RTWPB-III continues to support productivity improvement initiatives by helping workers’ and beneficiaries’ organizations develop values and practices that contribute to stronger, more sustainable, and productive organizations. (Kiara Francesca Songsong)
