The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board IX (RTWPB-IX) conducted digital innovation training for representatives from various micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Zamboanga City on 07 August 2026.

A total of 33 representatives from 25 firms participated in the activity.

Board Secretary VI Joel M. Ijirani, in his opening remarks, welcomed the conduct of the activity that aimed to enhance productivity of enterprises through innovative strategies.

Engr. Erra Jelle L. Gracia, Senior Labor and Employment Officer. and Erlinda Q. Pontanosa, Administrative Assistant I, kicked off the activity which a discussion on ways to build a Smart Digital Business Foundation.

Atty. Brenda M. Quintas, Information Technology Officer I and Hannah Rose L. Segovia, Administrative Assistant I, tackled efforts to grow a more productive online business.

Mr. Ric Luke B. Garcia, Labor and Employment Officer III, discussed ways to develop a Smart Productivity action plan.

Mr. Manolito A. Ringor of Verstar Marketing, Inc., a participant, expressed his gratitude for the conduct of the Smart Productivity Training.

“We appreciate how the AI and other digital tools could really help in our business operations. When we engage into digitalization, we will increase the productivity and efficiency of our people and our business processes”, Ringor said.
