The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board IX (RTWPB-IX) conducted a productivity training titled “Hired and Inspired: Jumpstarting Productivity through Effective Onboarding of New Employees” in Pagadian City on 25 August 2026.

A total of 47 participants, particularly the HR practitioners, supervisors, and employers of participating enterprises, participated in the training.

RTWPB-IX Board Secretary VI Joel M. Ijirani spearheaded the training session which provided the participants with a clear and practical guide to effective employee onboarding and its importance for productivity and retention.

DOLE9 Zamboanga del Sur Field Office Head Aileen B. Mondejar graced the activity and expressed her gratitude to the MSMEs for actively participating in programs of DOLE9 and RTWPB9 that are geared towards productivity improvement of enterprises.

Hired and Inspired: Jumpstarting Productivity through Effective Onboarding of New Employees provides a clear and practical guide to effective employee onboarding, explains why it matters for productivity and retention, and details the design and implementation of a structured onboarding process.
