Roxas, Palawan – More than 40 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) gained practical tools to trim waste, cut costs, and sharpen their competitive edge after the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-4B (RTWPB- MIMAROPA), in partnership with the Municipality of Roxas, Palawan, conducted the Lean Management Training on June 15, 2026, at the Training Hall, 3rd Floor, Municipal Building, Brgy. 2, Roxas, Palawan.

The training introduced lean principles and hands-on techniques to help local entrepreneurs eliminate inefficiencies in their operations, paving the way for stronger businesses, improved worker wages, and a more resilient local economy.

Through interactive lectures and practical exercises, MSME owners and operators were guided through core lean management concepts; from identifying and eliminating non-value-adding activities to optimizing workflows and making smarter use of limited resources. Participants left the session with actionable strategies they can immediately apply to their daily operations, equipping Roxas-based MSMEs with a sharper, more efficient approach to running their businesses and sustaining long-term growth.

The Roxas, Palawan local government unit (LGU) and the municipal PESO of LGU Roxas expressed appreciation for the support of the national government to the local businesses which in turn activity helps the growth of economy and employment in the municipality.

Before closing the activity, Ms. Maricris T. Malabayabas, owner of RX Pharmacy, shared her appreciation, noting that the training gave her valuable insights on maximizing her business resources without compromising customer service, while also strengthening her capacity to manage both her enterprise and her workers.
