NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-IVB (RTWPB-MIMAROPA) conducted its enhanced productivity training on Work-Life Balance for the management and staff of Stairway Foundation, Inc. (SFI) during its general assembly on January 30, 2026, in Brgy. Aninuan, Puerto Galera.
The training was facilitated by the RTWPB-MIMAROPA, led by Supervising Labor and Employment Officer Renell G. Mayo and Administrative Assistant II Radlie R. Manlisis, who introduced the upgraded module integrating advanced productivity methodologies.
The session focused on the core concepts of work-life balance, and effective time and stress management that serve as the foundation for both organizational success and mental health.
Participants explored the tools and methodologies, and how to apply high-level productivity frameworks not just within their office walls, but also in their personal lives.
A key highlight of the activity was a collaborative identification of specific productivity tools that transform the abstract concept of “balance” into a daily practice. Attendees were guided through the tangible benefits of these practices, such as reduced burnout and increased operational focus.
The initiative forms part of Stairway Foundation’s efforts to reinforce employee well-being and ensure its workforce remains aligned with its core mission of promoting children’s rights. According to Stairway, the ability of its staff to manage time effectively is directly proportional to the quality of care and advocacy they provide to the children they serve. (Renell G. Mayo)
