The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board–National Capital Region (RTWPB–NCR) joined representatives from government, labor, and management during the 1st Quarter Meeting of the Makati City Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (TIPC) held on February 24, 2026. The meeting served as a platform for stakeholders to discuss key workplace updates and strengthen cooperative labor-management relations in Makati City.
Dir. Leonides P. Castillon, Jr. of the Department of Labor and Employment–NCR Makati-Pasay Field Office, Ms. Lorna T. Castigador (Employer Sector Vice-Chair), Mr. Ignacio “Ronnie” Y. Magat (Labor Sector Vice-Chair), and other representatives of labor and employers were present during the meeting.
A key highlight of the meeting was a learning session on the salient points of Batas Kasambahay and Wage Order No. NCR-DW-06, conducted by Atty. Queen Therese D. Espinas, RTWPB-NCR OIC Board Secretary. During the discussion, RTWPB-NCR underscored its mandate to set minimum wage rates and promote compliance with labor standards, ensuring that both household employers and domestic workers clearly understand and uphold their rights and obligations.
