May 8, 2026

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Negros Occidental and Iloilo are strengthening their operations through a series of intensive productivity trainings aimed at building resilience and promoting sustainable growth.

The 2026 Productivity Toolbox Caravan kicked off on April 23, 2026 in Bacolod City, bringing together 45 MSMEs for the Productivity Toolbox Training: Productivity 101. A key highlight of the session, “Hired and Inspired: Jumpstarting Productivity through Effective Onboarding of New Employees,” underscored the importance of establishing strong workplace foundations to drive efficiency. The training provided a dynamic environment for local business owners to collaborate and refine workplace practices. By equipping teams with the necessary tools, mindset, and processes, the program aimed to ensure employees perform with purpose and consistency from their first day on the job.

The caravan continued on April 29, 2026, at the Sangguniang Bayan Hall in Concepcion, Iloilo, where 21 MSMEs participated in sessions on Productivity 101 and Smart Productivity. This leg of the training focused on practical strategies to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency, while also encouraging participants to foster a culture of continuous improvement in their organizations.

Through these targeted interventions and the use of NWPC’s updated training modules, MSMEs in Panay and Negros Occidental are now better positioned to enhance productivity and drive business growth.
