The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB-VI) kicked off its 2026 Productivity-Based Incentive Scheme (PBIS) Orientation and Productivity Toolbox Training Caravan for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in northern Panay on 29-30 January 2026.

The first leg of the caravan was held on 29 January in Kalibo, Aklan, gathering 27 MSMEs from various municipalities in the province. Participants received training on Green Productivity Towards Greener Industrialization, which equipped them with updated insights on Green Productivity framework.

On 30 January, the RTWPB-VI team proceeded to Roxas City, Capiz, where 51 MSMEs from across the province attended the session on Improving Productivity Through Inventory Management at the Governor’s Hall of the Capiz Provincial Capitol.

Across both venues, participants were also oriented on the Productivity-Based Incentive Scheme (PBIS) and received technical assistance to support its implementation in their respective enterprises.

The successful conduct of the two-day caravan was made possible through strong collaboration with the local government units of Kalibo, Aklan, and the Province of Capiz, as well as the DOLE Aklan and Capiz Provincial Field Offices, the Department of Trade and Industry, and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry– Aklan.
