The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-VI (RTWPB-VI) led learning session for domestic workers during the Araw ng mga Kasambahay on 7 February 2026 in Iloilo City.
The celebration commemorates the 13th anniversary of the enactment of Republic Act 10361, or the Batas Kasambahay.
A total of 42 participants—kasambahays, employers, and Barangay Employment Service Officers from across Iloilo Province joined the celebration, which featured a series of technical learning sessions aimed at educating kasambahays on their rights, privileges, and access to social welfare benefits. The RTWPB-VI discussed the salient features of the Batas Kasambahay, while DOLE-VI presented the International Labor Organization (ILO) Convention No. 190 (C190) highlights.
As part of the program, several social protection agencies—including the Social Security System, PAG‑IBIG Fund, and PhilHealth—set up registration booths and help desks to facilitate onsite enrollment and inquiries of participating kasambahays.
The event also served as the venue for awarding certifications to the first batch of kasambahay beneficiaries for 2026 under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP).
