The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-VIII (RTWPB-VIII) conducted the training on Design Thinking: A Tool for Increasing Enterprises Productivity for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) on April 8, 2026 at RTWPB-VIII Office, Tacloban City.
This training features the design thinking process that focuses on solving problems through understanding the needs and perspective of clients or customers, which could lead to better processes, products, services, and strategies. Through this training, MSMEs learn and can apply human-centered techniques to solve problems more creatively and innovatively to improve productivity.
MSMEs from Tacloban City and nearby towns attended the one-day workshop-seminar facilitated by Atty. Marie Ronette Salve B. Campo of the RTWPB-VIII.
The one-day workshop-seminar featured activities which cover the five steps of Design Thinking process – Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The participants also presented prototypes of their improved products and services, which were tested and reviewed. (Dominic N. Pacanan)
