RTWPB-VIII empowers Baybay City MSMEs through Green Productivity training

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Baybay City, Leyte participated in an orientation on Green Productivity Towards Greener Industrialization, a productivity training aimed at strengthening sustainable enterprise practices on February 24, 2026.

The session was facilitated by Ms. Rissa Lynnex D. Miralles, Administrative Assistant I of RTWPB-VIII. The activity featured a specialized training program to equip the 25 participating MSMEs with practical strategies to enhance productivity while minimizing environmental impact.

Resource speakers emphasized the importance of improving efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing resources to enhance both business competitiveness and sustainability. Participants expressed appreciation for the training, citing its relevance to their daily business operations.

City officials likewise reaffirmed their support for the MSME sector, underscoring that greener and more efficient enterprises contribute to inclusive economic growth and improved environmental stewardship across Leyte. (Joben S. Sabay)
