The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-X, (RTWPB-X), rolled out a series of orientations and trainings across Misamis Oriental this June, aiming to improve workplace productivity among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The series kicked off on June 2, 2026, where RTWPB-X conducted an orientation on Productivity Based Incentive Scheme (PBIS), a workplace-initiated program on improving the productivity of workers and enterprises to generate savings or additional revenues, which can be shared by enterprises with their workers. The activity was held in Claveria, Misamis Oriental

In the same day, RTWPB-X also conducted a productivity training on Hired & Inspired: Jumpstarting Productivity Through Effective Onboarding of New Employees, which provides a clear and practical guide to effective employee onboarding.

Representatives from 15 establishments participated in the training which also helped management on a structured onboarding process to improve employee engagement, reduce turnover and productive in the organization.

On June 6, 2026, RTWPB-X conducted a Productivity Toolbox Training on Work Ethics of a Productive Worker for about 70 workers of Nutrimax Fresh Baked Inc. in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental. The session helped participants address productive work values such as being industrious, and strong value for work can help improve workplace productivity.

In celebration of the 128th Independence Day on June 12, RTWPB-X joined the Kalayaan Job Fair’s one-stop-shop services in Kiosko Kagawasan, Cagayan de Oro. During the activity, RTWPB-X provided job seekers and employers alike with information and guidance on its Productivity Improvement programs and services. (Nicolo Lorenzo P. Cano)
