Representatives from over 15 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from the Davao Region attended the Productivity-Based Incentive Scheme (PBIS) orientation and Improving Productivity Through Inventory Management training conducted by RTWPB-XI on 08 April 2026.
Ms. Maria Tomasa V. Tabusares, Senior LEO, tackled PBIS and gave various examples on how to implement programs to boost the overall productivity of their establishments.
Ms. Ethel Sigrid A. Burgos, ITO I, discussed Inventory Management as well as the concept and challenges of inventory management. Kenneth Paul Recaña, LEO III, introduced digital systems to help inventory management. Tips and techniques to manage inventory were also discussed.
Participants developed action plans that contextualized the learnings gained from the activity to their respective establishments.
The Improving Through Inventory Management training covers tracking the movement of goods and items and explores tools and digital technologies for MSMEs to improve business processes and optimize inventory systems.
PBIS is a workplace-initiated program on improving the productivity of workers and enterprises to generate savings or additional revenues, which can be shared by enterprises with their workers. (Kenneth Paul Recaña)
