March 11, 2026

Over 20 participants attended the Lean Management training and Productivity-Based Incentive Scheme (PBIS) orientation hosted by RTWPB-XI on 06 March 2026.

Ms. Ethel Sigrid A. Burgos, Information Technology Officer I, and Ms. Jessielee R. Bilog, Administrative Assistasnt III, kicked off the activity with an introduction on the concepts of Lean Management. Ms. Sharon Grace S. Sanoy, Attorney IV, discussed the Productivity-Based Incentive Schemes (PBIS).

The training ended with an action planning session wherein the facilitators guided the participants on determining what process in their production was not “lean” and helped them to think of ways to achieve the best results given availability of their company’s resources.

Lean Management provides participants with basic tools and techniques for enhancing customer value by optimizing resources and reducing various forms of waste to improve overall enterprise efficiency.

PBIS is a workplace-initiated program on improving the productivity of workers and enterprises to generate savings or additional revenues, which can be shared by enterprises with their workers. (Kenneth Paul J. Recaña)
