Representatives from over 20 micro, small, and medium enterprises participated in the Productivity-Based Incentive Scheme (PBIS) orientation and ISTIV Bayanihan training conducted by the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Commission (RTWPB-IX) in Digos City on 19 March 2026.

Ms. Arlene Tuboro, Supervising LEO, introduced RTWPB-XI and its different programs and initiatives. She also discussed PBIS and shared tips and examples on how it can be implemented in their respective businesses.

Mr. Kenneth Paul J. Recaña, LEO III, and Ms. Xena Blanch D. Rudi, Administrative Assistant I, discussed work values, principles of marketing, costing and pricing, organizational management, stock control, and bookkeeping.

The activity was held in close coordination with the DOLE-XI Davao Del Sur Field Office, headed by Mr. Leo Ariel Pepino, DOLE Davao Del Sur Provincial Head.

ISTIV Bayanihan training aims to enhance the management practices of micro enterprises including Barangay Micro Business Enterprises, to foster their growth.

PBIS is a workplace-initiated program on improving the productivity of workers and enterprises to generate savings or additional revenues, which can be shared by enterprises with their workers. (Kenneth Paul Recaña)
