The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-XI (RTWPB-XI) conducted trainings on Productivity 101 and Retail and Visual Merchandising at the DTI Negosyo Center in Toril on 30 June 2026.

Done in partnership with DTI-XI, RTWPB-XI, the activity aims to teach participants practical strategies to work smarter, enhance product displays, and attract more customers.
Mr. Kenneth Paul J. Recaña, Labor and Employment Officer III, opened the session by discussing the definitions, misconceptions, and practical examples of productivity. He, likewise, discussed merchandising and its importance for MSMEs.
Following this, Ms. Ivory Diane P. Genovia, Administrative Assistant I, discussed the 5Fs Principles of Merchandising and shared tips to implement proper merchandising in their respective workplaces.
A question-and-answer portion was allotted to answer all questions of the participants.
Ms. Mira Flor Mumar, and Ms. Bethany Jane Mojica of the DTI-Negosyo Center also participated in the activity.
Productivity 101 provides a basic orientation on productivity concepts, measures, tools and techniques.
Retail and Visual Merchandising covers the fundamentals of merchandising, which refers to the marketing of the right product at the right price, in the right quantity, in the right place, and at the right time.
