Almost 40 participants participated in the Usapang 2Ps: Pasahod and Productivity seminar and the 7S of Good Housekeeping training conducted by Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-XI (RTWPB-XI) on 20 February 2026.
Ms. Arlene L. Tuboro, Supervising Labor and Employment Officer, kicked off the discussion with an orientation about the NWPC and RTWPBs. She also introduced various trainings under the Productivity Toolbox. Atty. Sharon Grace S. Sanoy, Attorney IV, tackled Productivity-Based Incentive Schemes (PBIS).
Ms. Ethel Sigrid A. Burgos, Information Technology Officer I, and Ms. Ivory Diane P. Genovia, Administrative Assistant I, discussed the 7S of Good Housekeeping training, focusing on tips and techniques on how to maximize space, minimize waste, and make their operations more efficient with minimal but needed investments.
This training was conducted in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – Region XI who invited various Sustainable Livelihood Programs (SLP) beneficiaries to participate in the productivity trainings of the agency.
Usapang 2Ps is an information campaign of the RTWPB and NWPC for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) on matters related to wages and productivity.
The Productivity Toolbox offers free learning and development through training interventions designed to support MSMEs in adopting systems and technology to improve productivity.
PBIS is a workplace-initiated program on improving the productivity of workers and enterprises to generate savings or additional revenues, which can be shared by enterprises with their workers.
7S of Good Housekeeping is one of the basic training programs of the RTWPB, which introduces a workplace organization method consisting of different approaches to maintain a tidy, clutter-free work area that fosters efficiency and improves productivity. (Kenneth Paul J. Recaña).
