RTWPB-XII assisted dental clinic receives DOLE-AMP grant

A dental clinic based in Polomok City, South Cotabato received a grant under the Department of Labor and Employment-Adjustment Measures Program (DOLE-AMP) in a turnover ceremony at the DOLE XII Conference Room on 11 June 2026.

Mirasol Dental Center, one of the 2025 Productivity Olympics (PO) National Finalists, joins other micro, small, and medium enterprises provided with financial assistance to support the enterprise’s business enhancement and adaptation measures, strengthen its resilience, and improve its productivity and competitiveness.

The DOLE-AMP check was formally awarded to Mirasol Dental Center Owner Dr. Darlene Kaye M. Mirasol-Licayan by DOLE XII Regional Director Imelda F. Gatinao and Assistant Regional Director Raymond Fel F. Sajor.

Prior to the grant release, the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-XII (RTWPB-XII) provided Mirasol Dental Center with orientations, consultations, and guidance on the program requirements and application process.

As a PO National Finalist, the enterprise was identified as a potential beneficiary of the program and was assisted in preparing the necessary documents and complying with the requirements needed to avail of the grant.

In her message, Regional Director Gatinao emphasized the important role of young entrepreneurs in creating employment opportunities and promoting good workplace practices that contribute to the welfare and development of workers. She also recognized enterprises that continuously pursue innovation and productivity improvement as key partners in fostering sustainable economic growth.

RTWPB-XII Board Secretary VI Eva Karla H. Lacambra likewise, reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to assisting enterprises in enhancing productivity and accessing government programs that support business sustainability and workforce development.

“The successful availment of the DOLE-AMP grant by Mirasol Dental Center demonstrates the value of collaboration between government institutions and enterprises in promoting productivity, resilience, and inclusive growth,” Board Secretary Lacambra said.

“It also highlights how productivity champions, such as Productivity Olympics finalists, can further strengthen their operations through strategic interventions and support programs,” she added. (Randy Oliver Legada)
