RTWPB-XII equips MSMEs with practical skills through ISTIV Bayanihan Training

March 25, 2026

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-XII (RTWPB-XII) conducted an ISTIV Bayanihan Training in the City of Koronadal on 18 March 2026.

A total of 40 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and 70 members of OFW Associations, Barangay Associations, and Seafarers’ Associations from across Region XII participated in the event.

Topics discussed were Costing and Pricing, Basic Bookkeeping, and Stock Control. These are essential skills for MSMEs to better understand their costs, set proper prices, keep track of income and expenses, and manage their inventory. By mastering these skills, participants can make better decisions and avoid common business mistakes.

RTWPB-XII emphasized that productivity involves more than just working harder, but knowing how to manage resources well, keep records properly, and plan business activities in a practical way.

By focusing on practical lessons that MSMEs can use right away, RTWPB-XII assisted participants in strengthening their operations, improving productivity, and contributing more to their communities and the local economy.

ISTIV Bayanihan aims to enhance the management practices of micro enterprises, including Barangay Micro Business Enterprises, to foster growth. (Randy Oliver Legada)
