The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-XIII (RTWPB-XIII) conducted a 7S of Good Housekeeping training for 75 employees across 39 departments of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Butuan on 13 August 2026.

Held in partnership with the Quality Management Division (QMD) of the City Executive Department, the activity aimed to equip participants with practical 7S principles to improve workplace safety, health, and productivity.

Participants completed a hands-on red-tagging exercise, identifying unnecessary items, sorting areas that required arrangement, and flagging dirty or neglected equipment for cleaning.

Engr. Richmond P. Dela Peña, IQA Team Leader of the Quality Management Division, extended his gratitude to RTWPB-XIII for sharing their expertise on 7S of Good Housekeeping.

“This is one of our efforts to revive the 7S Program of the Quality Management Division, and although some of you has already undergone the 5S Training conducted last 2015, this training is an advance and more improved good housekeeping training so I encourage everyone to listen, take notes, and ask questions,” Engr. Dela Peña, speaking in behalf of City Mayor Lawrence Fortun, said.

Board Secretary Earl D. dela Victoria extended his gratitude to all of the employees present in the training for their active participaton. He added that it is the agency’s hope to continously provide various trainings to the employees of the City Government of Butuan.

7S of Good Housekeeping is one of the training modules given by NWPC and RTWPB, which stands for Sort, Systematize, Sweep, Standarize, Safety, Self-Discipline, and Sustain. (Atty. Lorainne Sacote)
