The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board-XIII (RTWPB-XIII) conducted simultaneous capability development activities for Workers in the Informal Sector (WIS) across Caraga Region on 28 May 2026. 

Done in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Provincial Offices of Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, and Surigao del Norte, the activity aims to recognize the valuable contributions of informal sector workers while providing them with the practical knowledge and tools necessary to facilitate their transition from the informal to the formal productive economy.  

Officials and staff from the RTWPB-XIII spearheaded a series of capability-development activities across various parts of the region, particularly a training on Productivity 101. 

The initiatives were led by Attorney IV Atty. Lorainne D. Sacote in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte; Senior Labor and Employment Officer (LEO) Ms. Miraflor P. Granada in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur; and LEO III Mr. Eric O. Descartin in Surigao City, Surigao del Norte. 

These collaborative efforts between DOLE, RTWPB, and other partner agencies continue to bridge opportunities, empower grassroots workers, and strengthen sustainable livelihoods across the Caraga Region. 

Productivity 101 provides a basic orientation on productivity concepts, measures, tools and techniques.
