A learning session for Marikina City-based micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) was conducted through a convergence initiative between the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board – National Capital Region (RTWPB-NCR) and the Department of Trade and Industry – National Capital Region Office (DTI – NCRO) held last 03 March 2026.
Atty. Queen Therese D. Espinas, OIC-Board Secretary, together with Ms. Jackilyn A. Borja, Supervising LEO, and Mr. Joel Leonard M. Santarina, ITO Officer, of the RTWPB– NCR, discussed General Labor Standards, Labor Inspection Procedures, Green Productivity for Greener Industrialization, and Productivity-Based Incentive Schemes.
Meanwhile, Ms. Sheila Marie Rizardo of DTI–NCRO presented the agency’s programs and services, particularly those designed to support MSME development and growth.
The collaboration between RTWPB–NCR and DTI–NCRO underscores the government’s continuing commitment to supporting local businesses in their pursuit of sustainable growth and financial success.
The session provided participants with key insights on labor inspection procedures, general labor standards, and green productivity practices, essential elements in ensuring compliance while promoting environmentally responsible business operations. (Joel Leonard M. Santarina)
